Every invention was hatched in the imagination. Every scientific discovery, every marriage, every book, every act of kindness or meanness was first conceived in the mind.
Today scientists tell us that they can hook up sophisticated electronic equipment to a person’s head and as he talks the equipment can sense where in the brain the electrical firing takes place. A noun fires in a different place in the brain than a verb. One language fires in a different place than another language, if a person is bilingual.
Every thought creates electrical impulses which send electromagnetic waves out from the brain. Some scientists believe that these waves can travel a long distance. All of us think constantly and send these waves out to mix with the waves of other people.
Carl Jung, a famous psychologist, said there is a Collective Unconscious and that all of us can tap into it. I learned that in college and I thought it sounded ridiculous. Later as I read chapter 17 of the book of John I notices Jesus said the same thing. He said that all Christians are united as one and that the fabric of the Holy Spirit is woven together with the fabric of our souls like two different colors of thread being woven together. Well, he used different words, but that is my take on it.
Isaac Newton, who many consider to be the greatest scientist that ever lived, and Albert Einstein both talked about the power of intuition.

Many people say that daydreaming about their wedding day was actually more fun and exciting than actually living it. Some say the invisible world of love, hate, angels and demons is more real than the world that we can see and touch.
Two thousand years ago Jesus said that if you think about committing adultery with a person it is committing adultery. He didn’t say it was almost like, or similar to committing adultery. That was a radical new concept, because in the Jewish religion people believed that God looked at the actions, not the heart/mind.
Have you ever had dreams that seem more intense and real than the world you see every day? I sure have. Some say our spirit never sleeps and is active when our body is asleep. 2 Kings 5:26 says that Elisha could send his spirit out of his body to go snooping around other places. Wow!
