Your enemies help you

Use your imagination for a moment. How would you feel if the leader of your country or a celebrity that you really admire called you and invited you to dinner? Not only that, but your enemies would be invited, along with your friends, but they would all have to pay for their meal. The celebrity would make a speech about what a wonderful person you are and put out a big spread of delicious food for you with steaks, fish, cakes, breads, fruits and plenty of other delicious things to drink.

All of your enemies would be sitting there thinking, wow, maybe this guy isn’t so bad after all. Or maybe they would be jealous of you. Certainly you would feel vindicated.

Psalm 23 is considered one of the most beautiful poems ever written. It is filled with incredibly powerful affirmations. Verse 5 says “You prepare a feast for me right in front of my enemies.” NIRV

If you are ever troubled about people who have hurt you, maybe hurt you very badly, use this affirmation. Say it out loud ten times every time you need it and it will make you feel wonderful.

Romans 12:19(NIRV) My friends, don’t try to get even. Leave room for God to show his anger. It is written, “I am the One who judges people. I will pay them back” says the Lord.

Goliath was the worst enemy in the world for the Jewish people. But a boy named David was promoted because of his enemy. Killing Goliath put David in a position to later become king. Who are the Goliaths in your life?

Recently I read an article trashing a politician. But it just so happened that the things they didn’t like about that person were the things I did like. So by trying to cause him trouble, they were actually promoting him in many people’s eyes.

Joseph was promoted to one of the top positions in Egypt and stood before his brothers. His brothers sold him into slavery long before that, meaning it for bad, but it turned out that God used it for good.

God is in control. No one can ultimately harm you because God will use every bad situation and turn it into something good if you love God. Romans 8:28 We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.

I do believe all of the concepts you have presented in your post. They are very convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are very short for beginners. May you please lengthen them a little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.

I am one of those people who when I feel someone has wronged me desperately wants to take revenge. I do accept however what the Bible says and that God does things in his own time. It may be many years before their punishment comes but an injustice will not be overlooked.

Putting this to practice is what I call FAITH at it’s best! I’ve tested this and find that God is AWESOME in how big HE is and how small our challenges really are. He is in ultimate control and I am grateful.
