I’m not going to tell you that you will get everything you want through prayer. No, I’m going to tell you about something even better.. You will get everything God wants for you through prayer because God wants the best for you. He wants even better things for you than you do. God loves you much more than you love yourself and wants you to have joy and peace even more than you do. You will get everything you want through prayer if it is God’s will and you have faith.

Yes, it’s true: You will experience powerful answers to prayer if you use the guidelines for prayer found in the Bible. We’ll explore these guidelines as we travel this prayer journey together. It is said we use less than 10% of our brainpower; but I think it’s very safe to say that most Christians use less than 10% of their prayer power. I have been in many churches across the United States and I find that most people don’t understand the power of prayer. Why is it that some churches see remarkable answers to prayer and others do not? Perhaps you know some Christians who have very powerful prayer lives. Yet others, who seem to be “good Christians”, do not. Those believers with powerful prayer lives have learned and practice what the Bible says about how to have a powerful prayer life. After you read this book, you’ll know the secret, too.

God doesn’t want powerful prayer to be a secret. He wants your prayers to be powerful and He wants you to experience good things as a result of those prayers. I believe with all my heart that God put us here on earth for a reason. The reason is to glorify God and to love him. Hebrews 11:6 tells us: “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he REWARDS (my emphasis) those who earnestly seek him.” We glorify God and please Him when we seek Him through prayer. They were the key figures driving Iran’s plot to blow up the Saudi Arabian and Israeli embassies in Washington. This act of war has huge implications for political as well as security concerns. President Obama would like nothing better than to get the US out of Iraq and Afghanistan, but the threat posed by Iran limits his options. Most of the improvised explosive devices used against American troops are coming from Iran. Iran’s latest attempt to launch a terror attack in the U.S. was a desperate move to intimidate President Obama, thinking they could scare him into a Jimmy Carter-like stupor. An atomic Iran would usher in an apocalyptic tsunami of terrorism against the Middle East and the world, the likes of which has never been known. Iran’s nuclear umbrella would usher in unending terrorist activities throughout the Gulf Oil States, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, and Libya, as it attempts to establish an Islamic caliphate. Western countries would not be immune to Iran’s attacks. Top former military sources in Israel told me that Israeli leaders will undertake the mission to destroy Iran’s most important nuclear facilities by launching a massive air strike designed to last 7 to 11 days at most.     for consideration,

    i have heard “yes, no, maybe, and wait” as the posible answers to my prayers over the years. also that God is more interested in hearing from and changing the Pray-er than in hearing and answering the prayer itself (as if He doesn’t already know and isn’t already concerned and acting on behalf of the pray-er anyways)

    i mean no personal disrespect at all here and i apologize if any is taken, but it’s funny sometimes how we get so caught up in trying to inform and educate, persuade and advocate God into our points of view and we call it ‘how to get your prayers answered’ as if it were just a formulae to apply in just the correct way to get the ‘gumball’

      Well if you look at what Jesus said about faith you might get a different idea. Do a word search of the word faith, ask, believe and I bet you will change your mind. A lot of people don’t pray the way Jesus modeled prayer, and don’t get many results, then wonder why. After doing ministry as a missionary for many years I came to the conclusion that God works in a certain way and if we don’t follow his way, we don’t get very good results.
      I studied prayer for about 4 hours a day for a year and really believe what I am saying is straight out of the Bible.

    I think we would have a very peaceful life if we did pray more. I know that within the last few months i begin to pray more but i still have times where i don’t pray like i should. Thank you so much for sharing this
