Karma (you reap what you sow)

Whether you believe in the eastern religions (karma), Jewish religion (Proverbs 11:17 Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves) Christianity (Galatians 6:7  A man reaps what he sows.) or no religion at all (the law of attraction-what you think about you bring about) there is evidence that you can control your life much more than most people realize. You have the power to make your life good or bad, happy or sad, successful or unsuccessful.  Many Christians believe in the law of attraction-it is basically the law of faith.

Karma says that if you are good and you do good things, good will come to you.

King Solomon said that the kind benefit themselves, if a person is kind and says and does kind things, good will flow toward him. If he does bad things, bad will flow toward him. Something as simple as saying “thank you,” the experts say, can bring about a blessing to you and to the one you said it to.

The problem with this is that no matter if someone sees you doing good or bad, the same will flow to you. If you steal something, whether or not anyone knows it, it will still bring some kind of bad to you, either that day or later. The bad may seem to have nothing to do with the bad deeds you did.

How do we know if we are bringing good into our life? We check our feelings. If we are feeling good, not angry, bitter, sad or fearful, we will bring good things into our life. But if we worry, hold a grudge against someone or think of the bad things in life, the things we don’t like, life will bring more of those things to us. Your feelings are the indication of what you are bringing to you.

Are you feeling bad? You can change your mood. Do something you like, think about things you like, don’t think about things you don’t like. Think about good, not bad and good will come to you.  Eastern religion tells us this, the Jewish religion does, Christianity does and the law of attraction does too.

Many people don’t believe this. But certainly Jesus said it is true, and he said it over and  over again throughout the first four books of the New Testament.
Matthew 7:8 says “Everyone who asks, receives,”
Matt 9:29 “According to your faith it will be done to you.
Matt 17:20 “If you have faith nothing will be impossible for you.”
Matt 21:22 “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
Matt 25 The person with no faith buried money and didn’t earn any, the people with faith doubled their money.

Complaining brings bad things into your life. Worry, gossip, whining and most anger also bring bad things into your life. Remember, check your emotions to see what you are bringing to yourself. The Amazing Power of Prayer
